Einen frohen zweiten Advent!

That’s the second Sunday before Christmas. It’s old fashioned but real in Germany. People are generally nicer, so enjoy it! It won’t last forever and the Christmas markets make up for the ridiculously early sunsets. Plus there’s always Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel and lots of festival performances and concerts, so singers can sock away some extra money and kiddies can go to the opera.

It’s also not a bad time to send agents or theaters you’ve had contackt with a Christmas greeting. Just an email/card with a Christmassy picture and Frohe Weihnachten (Merry Christmas) und einen guten Rutsch! (Happy New Year) wishes. Keep it simple and check the grammar. Just be nice to know and remind them you exist.
