OK, Easter’s done and it’s time to get back to work. Anyone who has recently had a good audition at ZAV or with a private agent should remind them with a short email with the date of your audition and which roles that you’ve performed onstage. You might take a look at operabase.com or theaters’ websites to see if there is repertoire that you could jump-in for, or as we say it in German “Einspringen”.
One quick tidbit about ZAV München,: they are revamping their audition location and they currently don’t know if and when auditions will take place this Fall. The Leipzig ZAV or any of the other locations are a better bet for now. This is temporary, so stay posted and I will share more from my contacts at the ZAV in München when I know more. – Larry
